Research, engineering and experiments that represent the way I think, investigate and build.
A local file-sharing application for transferring files between nearby devices using QR codes or temporary secret codes, without relying on permanent cloud storage.
A full-stack inventory and purchasing application built while learning TypeScript and Test-Driven Development, with JWT authentication, REST APIs and automated backend testing.

I currently work as a full-time researcher at MIT Manipal, where I explore technical problems through investigation, experimentation and engineering.
Understand the problem, study existing work and identify what is actually worth exploring.
Test ideas through prototypes, technical exploration and structured experimentation.
Turn useful findings into systems, software, tools or practical technical outcomes.

Something beyond the screen
From March 2027, I plan to explore a small creative studio focused on personalised physical products, event designs and digital creations.
Physical products will be designed, produced and delivered through courier or post, while digital designs can be delivered directly online.
Custom magazines, books, memory books and meaningful printed pieces designed around people and their stories.
Creative designs for weddings, birthdays, engagements, celebrations and other special events.
Canva templates, invitations, posters, social media designs and other editable digital products.
Future / Prajwal Studio
The shop will open only when the products and fulfilment process are ready. Until then, this space documents the idea as it develops.

I'm Prajwal V Naik, a researcher, developer and creator interested in understanding ideas deeply and turning useful ones into things that can exist in the real world.
My path began in software development. Today, research is my main professional focus at MIT Manipal, while I continue building software, writing about technology and exploring creative work beyond engineering.
